A national tour is in the works—no word yet on dates.The last-minute shakeup is due to the loss of a major investor, according to producer Carl Levin. “We are grateful to the one-of-a-kind creative team and cast of this incredibly funny and heartwarming musical that audiences have so enthusiastically adored thus far,” he said in a statement. “We look forward to Nerds taking the country by storm.”Featuring a book and lyrics by Jordan Allen-Dutton and Erik Weiner and music by Hal Goldberg, Nerds tells the story of the rise of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.
