Hunters will clash with Seagulls on Sunday

first_imgThe PNG Hunters had traveled to Piggabeen to the scene of their biggest ever loss, a heavy 64-28 defeat back in 2014.That was the only time Tweed Heads had managed to defeat the Hunters in five encounters. However, the Seagulls came incredibly close to an upset back in Round 3 at the National Football Stadium, with only a late Noel Zeming conversion making the difference. In recent weeks, the Hunters have returned to their bad old days in the competition where they struggle to win away from home. They rectified that last year but this year they have again found it hard to defeat teams in Australia and have lost their past four away games.Hunters however, are looking to bounce back as they gear up with a strong side to crunch the Tweed Heads after their loss last weekend against the Norths Devils. The PNG side is currently fourth on the ladder, playing 13th-place Tweed heads tomorrow at Piggabeen Sports Complex at 2.05pm.PNG Hunters team;1. The alarming disappearance of De Ligt de Juventus

first_imgFrom playing more than 95% of last season’s games, starting to start eleven for several consecutive weeks. These are the consequences of Matthijs de Ligt moving to Turin, where he is having a hard time taking hold in his first months. Now, it has lost ownership. The first defeat of the season against Lazio in the Olympic of Rome led Sarri to change the eleven. The Dutchman, although Juventus was with ten by expulsion of Square, did not have his best day as evidenced in 2-1 when Immobile easily won a center of Luis Alberto who sent to the network of the goalpost bianconera after an excellent control. The following week he fell from the eleven against Udinese at home and left in 76 with the game controlled to rest (3-0). Once again, he was not lucky. The Dutch did not cover a low center from his profile that ended up at Nestorovsky’s feet so that he would give it to Pussetto and make the 3-1. Sarri justified himself after winning the Sardines. “I am the first who believes he will be the best defender in the world. It has been difficult months playing every three days, in a new country, new language, new championship … Demiral is very good. He is in good shape and it seems normal to enjoy him, “said the coach. De Ligt has to work to recover the position in the second half of the season.center_img Looking to the Super Cup, Sarri opted for the Demiral-Bonucci duo and, although it didn’t work out precisely (they lost 3-1), he decided to keep it without giving the young central one a minute in the victories against Sampdoria (1-2) and against Cagliari (4-0).last_img read more

first_imgFrenkie de Jong attended an advertising event on Thursday at one of the Nike stores in Barcelona, where he presented the brand’s winter training clothes. The Dutch midfielder answered questions from the media and prioritized winning the Champions League rather than raising LaLiga, perhaps fruit of the bad experiences of his companions in past seasons. We are all very happy with him, I am very happy.”Self demand: “I have played many minutes, but I can do much better. Saudi Al Shabab announces the signing of Banega until 2023

first_imgFuentes del Sevilla denied having knowledge of the matter, although the player could legally negotiate his departure to another club since January 1 with less than six months left before his contract concluded. In fact, the two sides had publicly expressed their intention to extend their relationship, although the negotiations had long been stopped. Banega is one of the untouchables of Lopetegui and one of the heavyweights of the costumes of Seville. Now it remains to be seen how the news of his departure to the team affects the remaining months of competition for the end of the season. Of Frutos and Lunin, the white grants that did not curdle

first_imgNo minutes Lunin met a very important Masip, more discussed by his presence, although not by Sergio Gonzalez, which only gave the Ukrainian the opportunity to demonstrate his qualities in the Cup against the Toulouse and at Marbella. Although he always talked about him as a great goalkeeper (he came with the prize of having been chosen the best of Sub 20 world), never abandoned his humble character. De Frutos had a major competition: Puce It has two other right ends and with two sides that can play in their position. The Segovian always left good feelings, but Sergio always opted for other more experienced players. Like Javi Sánchez, he came to think about staying, although he finally asked to leave after not having prominence. And the two have done well for now: as soon as they reach the Tartiere already Vallecas they have had minutes (which are expected to increase) and that as blanquivioletas they were not going to have. For Javi Sánchez it will also be complicated: Salisu and Kiko Olivas they have always played, but he has not been available for injuries … The elimination of Real Valladolid leaves you with no options to add more minutes in this competition, in which you also played Lunin Y Of fruits, the other two players assigned by Madrid last summer, and who have gone to Oviedo and at Vallecano Ray, respectively, after not having prominence in Zorrilla. Javi Sánchez, the only survivor of the transfer of Conch Thorn to Fox last summer, it is one of the discards of Valladolid for today. The center has had several injuries that have prevented him from debuting until last Wednesday, when he played 90 minutes against Tenerife in the Cup.last_img read more
